Icelandic Highlands, South Coast, Puffins

$6,495.00

Join us for an unforgettable 7-day photography adventure through the very best of Iceland, carefully crafted for photographers who want more than just a sightseeing tour. With a maximum of only six participants and two experienced photography guides, you'll enjoy an exceptional 3:1 photographer-to-guide ratio, allowing for guidance on terrain and area, local tips and tricks, technical help with all camera brands, and an emphasis on staying safe! Our journey begins in Iceland's remote Highlands, where colorful rhyolite mountains, volcanic landscapes, hidden waterfalls, and vast wilderness create dramatic compositions rarely experienced by most visitors. As we travel south, we'll photograph the ever-changing beauty of Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where floating icebergs drift toward the Atlantic before washing ashore on the sparkling black sands of Diamond Beach. Along the South Coast, we'll chase Iceland's iconic waterfalls, explore black sand beaches framed by towering basalt cliffs, and photograph the famous sea stacks and dramatic coastline surrounding Vík under the best available light. Our adventure concludes on the breathtaking Westman Islands, home to one of the world's largest Atlantic puffin colonies, where we'll spend time photographing these charismatic seabirds as they soar above towering sea cliffs and perch just feet away. Every day is planned around maximizing photographic opportunities, with the flexibility to adapt to changing weather and light conditions-two of Iceland's greatest creative assets. Whether you're looking to expand your portfolio, refine your landscape and wildlife photography skills, or simply experience one of the most extraordinary places on Earth alongside like-minded photographers, this photo tour delivers an unforgettable combination of adventure, education, and inspiration. From sunrise landscapes and glacial ice to volcanic terrain and incredible wildlife encounters, you'll return home with not only remarkable images, but also new techniques, lasting friendships, and memories that will stay with you long after the journey ends. This is NOT a workshop, all images taken by you are yours to use as you see fit!
